When I first stumbled upon Bleach: The 3rd Phantom, I was incredibly intrigued. As much as I struggle with tactical RPGs, they’re actually one of my favorite genres. Combining it with one of my favorite anime series was so enticing, I snapped the game up, even though it didn’t have the original case or the manual—typically a deal breaker for the manic collector that I am. The combination, however, is a tricky one—the game must satisfy my love for Bleach the anime and be able to stand on its own as a tactical RPG. Continue reading
